Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Backend (AI Agent Integrations).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and evolution of the AI Agent integration framework across CCaaS platforms
• Design scalable backend systems for managing real-time conversation state and context propagation
• Establish architectural patterns for AI-to-human handoff to ensure a seamless customer experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience building scalable backend systems in production environments
• Demonstrated experience leading architecture for large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in API design and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
