Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable booking flows and checkout journeys for a multi-tenant commerce platform
• Define and maintain architectural standards for distributed systems, ensuring robust and maintainable patterns
• Mentor senior engineers and conduct design reviews to elevate engineering practices across the organization

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in distributed system development, particularly in Scala
• Strong understanding of multi-tenant architecture, prioritizing configuration over customization
• Proven ability to navigate complex codebases and implement effective abstractions
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ability to balance long-term system health with the need for rapid delivery
