Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer (Rails).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage state machines across projects, orders, jobs, and loads
• Design geofencing and geo-driven event processing for dispatch events
• Build integrations with telematics providers and external systems

Required Qualifications

• Strong Rails experience or comparable backend framework experience
• Ability to think in systems interfaces, schemas, and invariants
• Experience modeling workflows with unreliable sources of truth
• High ownership of projects and tasks
• Daily use of AI coding tools
