Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer (AI & Agentic Systems).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and public REST APIs
• Lead design decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Build and optimize AI systems and services, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 8-10 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Strong expertise in backend development with Java or C#, and experience with RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-powered applications or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and experience integrating AI systems with external tools/APIs
