Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer, Exposure Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the Exposure Management team, driving technical direction and enhancing architecture practices
• Own the migration plan to transition legacy ASM functionality to the new Exposure Management platform
• Take end-to-end ownership of backend services, ensuring interoperability with the new platform and resolving complex legacy issues

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• 5+ years of experience with Golang
• Strong background in distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with operational stacks supporting microservices (gRPC/REST, GCP, Kubernetes)
• Ability to navigate and reverse-engineer legacy systems effectively
