Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative financial solutions, the full-time Staff Backend Engineer will lead complex product initiatives, optimize engineering processes, and mentor other engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify strategic technical needs and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance product direction
• Take ownership of technical initiatives, managing projects from design to execution and reporting on progress
• Lead technical interviews, mentor engineers, and manage incident responses to ensure system reliability

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing web APIs within .NET (C#)
• Proven experience building resilient financial systems with complex lifecycles
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data-intensive applications
• Experience scaling consumer-facing products with significant transaction volumes
• Ability to effectively leverage AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity
