Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To tackle critical security challenges, the full-time Staff Backend Engineer will architect and lead the development of cloud-native security products while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Command the design, development, delivery, and supportability of security products from concept to production
• Build cross-group partnerships and work closely with engineering, product management, and design teams
• Uphold programming standards through rigorous code reviews and comprehensive testing

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building Java-based web applications
• Deep understanding of design patterns, scalability, and security engineering principles
• Experience in fast-paced software development with continuous integration and deployment practices
• Strong background in security and championing best practices
• Ability to work effectively across functions and mentor junior engineers
