Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the expansion of a cloud platform, the full-time hybrid Staff Backend Engineer will enhance product features, maintain high-quality production services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the capabilities of the cloud platform and lead the development of new product features
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customers to ensure successful integration and functionality
• Own projects from design through deployment, proactively identifying and addressing gaps in requirements or processes

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a relevant degree
• Mastery of Java, Linux, and AWS
• Experience designing REST APIs and integrating with partner systems
• Strong understanding of security and data privacy principles in engineering
• DevOps and SRE experience in maintaining production environments
