Staff Brand Designer

Job Summary

Bringing a strong design perspective, the full-time Staff Brand Designer will manage and mentor a small team while owning design for public-facing editorial properties, creating engaging graphics, and leading internal programs, all in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Own design for Shopify's public-facing editorial properties and evolve the design system
• Design infographics and shareable graphics to effectively convey complex information
• Lead design for internal programs and events, ensuring high creative standards are maintained

Required qualifications:

• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating complex brand work and system-building experience
• Deep fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite across physical and digital formats
• Proven experience with data visualization and infographics
• Track record of owning and evolving design systems
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools in the creative process
