Staff Build Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Build Engineer, Cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a high-performance, hermetic build system using Bazel
• Design, deploy, and manage a Remote Build Execution cluster on Kubernetes
• Write custom CLI tools and modernize CI/CD pipelines to improve build efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience focused on Developer Infrastructure or Build Engineering
• Deep expertise in Bazel, including writing custom Starlark rules
• Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Go, Kotlin, or Python
• Experience operating Remote Execution systems at scale
• Fluency in Kubernetes for scheduling build workloads
