Staff Business Intelligence Developer
Job Summary
To support the Office of Innovation, the full-time Staff Business Intelligence Developer will design, build, and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions, transitioning institutional reporting to certified data assets in Snowflake while partnering with stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various functional areas, ensuring accuracy and performance
- Lead the migration from legacy reporting to certified Snowflake data assets, validating outputs and refining reports as needed
- Establish best practices for Power BI development and mentor team members as the BI function matures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise Power BI dashboards and semantic models
- Advanced skills in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization
- Strong SQL proficiency, including joins, aggregations, and dataset validation
- Experience building BI solutions on Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
- Knowledge of BI data modeling concepts, including star schemas and reusable semantic layers
