Staff Civil Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Civil Engineer 2 to support the Aircraft Operating Surfaces Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve in various project roles, increasing responsibility over time, including project engineer and project manager
• Engage in project activities such as literature reviews, data analysis, report generation, and innovative solution creation
• Participate in business development by writing proposals and presenting project information at industry events

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Civil Engineering with a focus on pavement engineering
• Understanding of pavement engineering, pavement materials, and geotechnical engineering
• Skills in mechanistic modeling of pavements and coding languages
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis; experience with statistical software is a plus
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
