Staff Cloud Networking Engineer

Job Summary

Owning cloud networking across the engineering organization, the full-time Staff Cloud Networking Engineer will architect, build, and operate the network foundation while defining the technical direction for scaling cloud networking, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy IPv6-native VPC architecture and manage IPv6 networking for EKS workloads
• Establish standards and best practices for cloud networking, serving as the authority on networking decisions
• Drive the long-term strategy for multi-cloud connectivity and network scalability as the organization expands

Required qualifications

• Deep, hands-on AWS networking expertise with experience designing and operating AWS networking in production
• Strong vendor-agnostic networking fundamentals, including IPv4 and IPv6, routing, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Demonstrated history of influencing technical direction and establishing standards across an organization
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting IPv6 in cloud or large network environments
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and familiarity with Kubernetes networking
