Staff Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Cloud Ops team, the remote Staff Cloud Operations Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in GCP while ensuring compliance with security standards and improving incident response processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with technical and non-technical staff on workflow automation and cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain and improve incident response processes and tooling, ensuring proactive monitoring across the application stack
• Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while troubleshooting issues and providing support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably with GCP
• Strong experience with observability tools and at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Bash, Java, or Go
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Able to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation
