Staff Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Staff Cloud Security Engineer for a remote, full-time position, where the successful candidate will manage security integration within the cloud environment, collaborate with engineering teams, and conduct threat modeling across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security principles into cloud infrastructure design
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across the multi-cloud environment
• Manage cloud security posture using tools for misconfiguration detection and compliance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years in cloud security or a related role
• Proven experience in Kubernetes security posture management and multi-tenant security architecture
• Strong understanding of application architecture and experience with secrets management at scale
• Proficiency in Go, with familiarity in Python and gRPC security architectures
