Staff Cloud Security Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on enhancing security measures within AWS environments, the remote Staff Cloud Security Engineer will manage cloud security posture, vulnerability management, and CI/CD pipeline hardening while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own cloud security posture across the AWS environment using Wiz and AWS-native services
- Establish secure defaults in Infrastructure as Code through reusable modules and policy as code
- Run vulnerability management across cloud and application findings, coordinating remediation with engineering
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on security engineering experience in cloud security and vulnerability management
- Strong AWS security background, including IAM, networking, and container orchestration
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, specifically with Terraform
- Proven experience contributing to a vulnerability management program
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling
