Staff Computational Biologist

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned Staff Computational Biologist, this remote position will lead the analysis and interpretation of cancer's molecular signatures, develop models for biological changes, and execute computational analyses on high-throughput genomic data.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a thought leader on the Computational Science team, guiding the analysis of cancer molecular signatures
• Develop and execute computational models and analyses for various genomic data types
• Collaborate with molecular biologists and development scientists to refine experiments and translate research into products

Required qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant quantitative field such as computational biology or bioinformatics
• At least 8 years of post-PhD experience in applying computational techniques for biological discovery, preferably in cancer or diagnostics
• Deep expertise in cancer and molecular biology, with a focus on computational biology applications
• Extensive experience with high-throughput genomic data analysis and model development
• Proficiency in Python and relevant statistical and modeling packages
