Staff Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering with various NBCUniversal businesses, the full-time Staff Cyber Security Engineer will conduct end-to-end security and threat analysis of enterprise initiatives, ensuring technology is designed and deployed securely in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security and threat analysis for new or modified technology deployments
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide security guidance and mitigation requirements
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert across various Cyber Security technology areas

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in architecting and delivering Cyber solutions
• Expertise in threat mitigation best practices across multiple technical areas
• Advanced technical knowledge in Cyber Security, particularly in network, application, and cloud security
• Experience developing and documenting security guidelines or best practices
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and security controls like NIST CSF
