Staff Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting 24/7 threat detection and incident response, the full-time Staff Cybersecurity Analyst will manage enterprise-wide security capabilities while collaborating with teams to enhance D-Wave's security posture, with the flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid setup, or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain detection and response capabilities using SIEM and Threat Intelligence platforms
• Conduct risk evaluations of applications and SaaS providers, enhancing security postures across various platforms
• Lead incident response activations for cyber-related events and conduct employee security awareness training

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or information technology, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with global responsibility preferred
• Deep understanding and operational experience with Microsoft 365 security capabilities
• Experience using SIEM solutions for incident monitoring and response
• Defensive security mindset with experience in application and SaaS risk evaluations
