Staff Data Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Staff Data Analyst working remotely, the candidate will lead efforts to provide high-impact insights to operations, product, and leadership teams, focusing on optimizing business performance through advanced analytical methodologies and strategic partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating complex data findings into actionable recommendations
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance business performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
• Conduct deep-dive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) using Jupyter Notebooks to uncover trends and insights from data

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an analytical, decision science, or advanced business intelligence role
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and building lightweight data applications, as well as SQL and dbt for data modeling
• Expert-level experience using Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory data analysis
• Strong understanding of consumer tech business metrics such as LTV, retention, and cohort analysis
• Experience with modern AI tools and workflow automation to enhance analytical processes
