Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, event-driven data services and orchestration pipelines
• Architect and evolve core platform components to ensure scalable and secure data pipelines
• Mentor data engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• 8 - 12 years in engineering roles, including 3 - 5 years in data engineering at a senior/architect/staff level
• Extensive experience in Snowflake and with various data stores (e.g., RDS, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience writing high throughput services in Python
• Strong data ops skills including modeling, CI/CD pipelines, and data validation frameworks
