Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of data infrastructure and analytics layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for analytics and operations
• Develop dbt models and data marts for self-serve analytics across the business
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into metrics and analytical tools

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in building ELT data pipelines using tools like dbt and Airflow
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery
• Strong data modeling skills for operational and analytical workloads
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or Java)
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
