Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to architect their data platform and tackle complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize the next-generation data platform, including Snowflake and real-time CDC pipelines
• Establish company-wide data standards and champion data reliability across all systems
• Lead and mentor engineering practices across teams, conducting architecture reviews and sharing expertise

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields with platform-level architecture experience
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Change Data Capture frameworks
• Strong background in external data sharing and partner integrations
• Proven ability to design and implement data governance and observability systems
• Strong engineering skills in SQL and Python, with a focus on testing and maintainability
