Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of its modern data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale data pipelines integrating data from various systems into the data warehouse
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analysis needs and enhance data logging patterns
• Participate in architectural decisions and promote data engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience as a data engineer and/or analytics engineer
• 10+ years of hands-on experience coding in Python, Spark, and SQL
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud and data warehouses like Snowflake and Redshift
• Proficient in Dimensional Modeling and Data Architecture concepts
• Experience in implementing real-time and batch data pipelines with strict SLOs
