Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to own and evolve their data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to develop data models and pipelines for applications, research, and reporting
• Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes for processing large volumes of data
• Evaluate and implement data storage solutions to enhance performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
• 8+ years of full stack or backend development experience
• Expertise in modern ETL technologies and building data pipelines at scale
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, as well as SQL
• Experience with cloud-based data engineering pipeline design, preferably with AWS and Databricks
