Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader in their technology function.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the quality and reliability of data platforms, ensuring high standards for availability, resilience, security, and scalability
• Define and evolve the architecture of data systems, including a modern data lakehouse strategy
• Lead the migration of legacy tools and infrastructure into scalable, cloud-native solutions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or platform development
• 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale data platforms in cloud environments
• Proven experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and streaming platforms
• Strong cloud expertise in Azure or AWS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
