Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and buildout of a unified event tracking platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data, Product, and Engineering teams to unify the foundational data ecosystem
• Create modular frameworks for event publishing to the unified platform
• Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure the health of the data platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 8 years of experience in Data, ML, and/or Software Engineering
• Expertise in Cloud Data Warehousing, preferably Snowflake
• Expertise in streaming data processing systems such as Kafka and Apache Flink
• Familiarity with dbt and pipeline orchestration engines like Apache Airflow or Prefect
