Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of identity services and data governance platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a scalable identity resolution platform and build data pipelines
• Own data governance foundations, including data lineage, quality checks, and access controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize regulatory requirements and monitor data quality

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with a proven track record in building data infrastructure using Spark with Scala
• Experience in delivering large-scale services and APIs backed by relationship-heavy datasets
• Knowledge of data governance practices, including data quality and metadata management
• Strong understanding of privacy-by-design principles and handling of sensitive data
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
