Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to architect and evolve scalable data platforms for real-time analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve scalable, cost-efficient data platforms for real-time and batch analytics
• Own data systems end-to-end, including ingestion, streaming, transformation, storage, and serving
• Define and enforce engineering standards for CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing, and observability

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and operating high-volume distributed data systems in production
• Deep expertise with cloud data platforms (Databricks preferred) and AWS
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for large-scale processing
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, Terraform)
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
