Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to design, build, and scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise data architecture and define standards for data modeling and access
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and optimizing workflows
• Own data warehouse schema design and implement data governance best practices

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise in database architecture and distributed data systems
• Strong experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments
• Proven ability to design scalable data warehouse schemas and data models
• Experience implementing data governance practices, including role-based access control (RBAC)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including experience with Python, SQL, AWS, Redshift, and Airflow
