Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven initiatives, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will develop scalable systems, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with business leaders to translate requirements into functional specifications
• Engineer scalable, reliable systems for data management while delivering clean and functional code
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to build quality systems and expand offerings

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language (.NET or Java) and SQL
• Experience with cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Proficiency in building scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's degree or PhD preferred
