Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of enterprise data solutions, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will design and build data integration and storage systems, optimize AI tool usage, and navigate complex data landscapes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead rapid delivery initiatives across teams, establishing trust through consistent fast delivery of data solutions
• Build high-performing teams by fostering psychological safety and mentoring engineers in data integration and discovery techniques
• Design complex data architectures and establish quality standards across teams, ensuring robust and maintainable integration solutions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Deep production experience with Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms (preferably AWS)
• Proven expertise in large-scale data integration and enterprise data architecture
• Experience with AI coding tools and architecting data infrastructure for generative AI applications
• Experience leading data initiatives across multiple teams and mentoring engineers in complex data environments
