Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

To shape and deliver modern, enterprise-scale data platforms, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will design scalable data systems, optimize data pipelines, and define governance standards while working remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable data platforms across pipelines, warehouses, and data lakes
• Build and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines
• Define and enforce data governance, quality, and compliance standards

Required qualifications

• Strong commercial experience building and scaling distributed data systems
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and either Scala or a similar language
• Deep knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub
• Hands-on experience supporting AI and machine learning data workflows
