Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Last Mile Orthopedics Supply Chain, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and optimize databases while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain robust data pipelines and models for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Lead project deployment processes, including code reviews and testing phases within an Agile framework
• Mentor junior data engineers and manage Azure VPC architecture for secure cloud infrastructure

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
• 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related occupation
• Proficiency in data architecture, data integration tools, and programming languages such as PySpark and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC practices and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Terraform
