Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Staff Data Engineer to work remotely full-time, focusing on modernizing data architecture and ETL infrastructure for corporate financial systems while scaling data pipelines for enterprise initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the evolution of core data infrastructure by designing and scaling robust data pipelines into a cloud data warehouse
• Set the long-term technical direction for the financial data warehouse and analytics strategy, ensuring scalability and effective modeling
• Establish automated reconciliation logic and data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in engineering data integrations and pipelines across complex enterprise ecosystems
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3 integration and architecting ingestion patterns for high-volume data
• Proven track record in designing data pipelines and schemas for analytics on a cloud data warehouse
• Direct experience in a public company environment with knowledge of SOX compliance and data governance
• Experience working within an Agile framework and managing sprints using tools like Jira
