Job Summary

Seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join a remote, full-time position focused on designing scalable data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines while contributing to technical leadership and data strategy across a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Define data architecture and platform strategy, leading design across pipelines, warehouses, and data lakes
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines supporting batch and real-time processing, ensuring data governance and quality standards
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with leadership on data strategy and technical decisions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional data engineering experience with a focus on complex data platform initiatives
• Expert proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL, along with strong system architecture background
• Deep expertise with cloud-native data platforms and enterprise data warehousing
• Strong experience with data pipeline orchestration, streaming platforms, and real-time data processing
• Demonstrated leadership and technical mentoring experience across a team or organization
