Staff Data Engineer
Job Summary
Offering a remote opportunity, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will provide technical leadership in designing and developing a modern data platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable data models and data products that enhance reporting and analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of the data architecture
- Design, build, and optimize cloud-native ELT pipelines to support various data products, including payment analytics and regulatory reporting
- Serve as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and driving best practices for data modeling and pipeline development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering
- Deep expertise in designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-native architectures
- Expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, fact and dimension design, and data warehouse architecture
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS technologies
