Job Summary
To support the development of institutional trading systems, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will architect, build, and manage low-latency market data components while collaborating with a high-impact team in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and operate market data components, including feed handlers and distribution systems
- Design low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time market data utilized by trading systems
- Contribute to system reliability and performance through observability and incident response participation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with production low-latency systems
- Hands-on experience with market data systems, including feed handlers and normalization
- Proficiency in low-latency Java or C++ and high-throughput messaging systems
- Familiarity with market data protocols such as FIX and ITCH/OUCH
- Demonstrated ability to deliver features end-to-end and operate developed systems
