Staff Data Engineer
Job Summary
Taking ownership of key initiatives across Data Platform Engineering, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will design data solutions, build reliable data pipelines, and contribute to the evolution of the data platform while working remotely in the U.S.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and build data solutions for batch, streaming, and real-time workloads
- Implement and enhance data quality, observability, and governance across data pipelines and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and mentor engineers
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with production data pipelines
- Strong expertise in Spark and distributed data processing
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
- Proficient in programming and SQL for building reliable data systems
