Staff Data Engineer
Job Summary
As a key technical leader, the full-time remote Staff Data Engineer will design and deliver scalable data solutions while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the data platform's architecture and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities and initiatives
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics and operational use cases
- Drive data architecture decisions and establish engineering standards across the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Python, and SQL
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT design patterns
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery and Cloud Storage
