Staff Data Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the development of the analytics platform, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will improve and optimize data analytics architecture, collaborate with stakeholders to build data models and metrics, and mentor other engineers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Improve, extend, and optimize data analytics architecture for reliable data access
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build extensible dimensional models and metrics for AI-assisted insights
- Evolve data quality and governance processes while mentoring other engineers
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or similar role
- Fluency in advanced SQL concepts, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse design
- Proficiency in dbt and experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
- Experience designing and optimizing pipelines for large datasets
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative in problem-solving
