Staff Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate the core data platform for reporting and self-serve analytics
• Lead end-to-end platform initiatives balancing performance, cost, reliability, and developer experience
• Design and scale ingestion and transformation systems to support rapid product growth

Required Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of data engineering and workflows
• Expert knowledge of data orchestration tools (dbt, dagster, airflow, etc.)
• Experience with large data warehouses/platforms at multi-PB scale
• Experience evolving architectures as scale changes
• Understanding of web apps and best practices for logging and event instrumentation
