A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist, Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the data science strategy for the insurance business, driving multi-quarter initiatives
• Lead cross-functional analytics projects to uncover insights across the customer and broker journey
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists and analysts, developing repeatable frameworks

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics or data science with a proven impact on product, underwriting, or revenue
• Deep domain experience (8+ years) in the Insurance industry, particularly in P&C or cyber/E&O
• Expert SQL skills, including complex data modeling and performance optimization
• Proficiency in Python or R for analysis and reproducible workflows
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and experiment design
