Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join their Data Science team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect robust, scalable ML systems for the exchange, including training pipelines and real-time inference
• Lead high-impact data science initiatives and drive the data science roadmap in collaboration with engineering and product teams
• Mentor senior data scientists and influence technical standards and best practices across the organization

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a relevant technical field with 6+ years of experience, or M.S./B.S. with 8+ years of experience
• Deep expertise in deep learning and familiarity with optimization methods; experience in causal inference is a plus
• Proven ability to architect and deliver complex, production-grade ML systems at scale
• Strong track record of nurturing data science projects to maturity with significant business impact
• Mastery of probability and statistics, and strong skills in Python and SQL; experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
