Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Partnering with business stakeholders, the full-time remote Staff Data Scientist will independently tackle complex operational challenges, conduct exploratory data analyses, and build dashboards to enhance visibility into performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep exploratory data analysis to diagnose root causes and identify optimization opportunities
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure for real-time visibility into operational and financial performance
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches with actionable recommendations

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in product analytics or a high-level business analytics role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and visualization
• Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, or Data Science
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI tools for data analysis
