Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Data Scientist will own high-impact problem spaces, partner with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy, and design experiments to measure the impact of product changes.

Key responsibilities

• Own ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces across product and business domains, from question framing to solution implementation
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product strategy and anticipate future challenges
• Design and evaluate experiments to measure the impact of product and strategic changes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in an analytical or quantitative role, including 5+ years as a Data Scientist or similar title
• Demonstrated ability to tackle difficult data questions and lead cross-functional efforts
• Expertise with statistical techniques and their practical application
• Extensive experience using a procedural programming language for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis
• Experience mentoring other data scientists and raising team standards through best practices
