Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Data Scientist to tackle complex modeling problems, drive the data science and ML technology stack, and collaborate with engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage high-stakes modeling problems from initial framing through production deployment
• Define and establish standards for data science and ML practices while contributing to both data science and ML ops
• Engage with leadership to translate modeling approaches into actionable recommendations and identify opportunities for data science across the platform

Required qualifications

• Expert-level Python programming with production code experience
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Postgres and BigQuery
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
• Proven experience deploying and operating models in production environments
• Hands-on experience with ML ops practices, including model versioning and pipeline orchestration
