Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of scalable ML systems, the full-time remote Staff Data Scientist will manage the full machine learning lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence the roadmap for ML-driven products that enhance customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full machine learning lifecycle from problem framing and data exploration to modeling, deployment, and monitoring
• Design and implement advanced ML and statistical models to improve product performance and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define project scope and success metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science with a proven track record of delivering production ML systems
• Deep knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and model evaluation
• Experience with distributed data processing and ML Ops frameworks
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
