Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

As a full-time Staff Data Scientist specializing in Forecasting, the candidate will build and own sophisticated models that drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with cross-functional teams remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create forecasting algorithms to support the S&OP process
• Build reliable and scalable AI/ML models and robust data pipelines
• Mentor other Data Scientists and improve data science practices across the team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in Data Science or related fields, or a Master's degree plus 5 years, or a PhD plus 3 years of experience
• Deep expertise in time series forecasting methods and their theoretical underpinnings
• Experience in developing forecasting systems in a supply chain context
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for developing production applications
• Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines
