Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Data Scientist will collaborate with the CTO to develop innovative statistical methodologies and production-quality machine learning systems that enhance home valuation processes for Kelley Blue Book and TrueTracts.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement production-quality statistical and machine learning systems
- Develop new analytical methodologies and translate research ideas into scalable production software
- Establish technical standards and mentor future team members in the Data Science organization
Required qualifications
- Strong background in machine learning and statistics
- Experience building production-quality machine learning systems
- Excellent Python programming skills
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing and version control
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively
